“A run for a happier and safer life”

This life story started in India. Experiencing difficulties and facing unsafe situations, the person behind this story relocated to Saudi Arabia, where she, her husband and children lived a very happy life until the COVID-19 pandemic started.

The pandemic was again life changing, after the husband lost his job for a long period of time, the family was struggling to meet their basic needs from their own sources and there was no help available from the government in these hard times. The pandemic and challenges resulting from the restrictions impacted the family greatly. Moving back to India was not an option, as life over there wasn’t safe for the family.

After moving a couple of times and trying to find solutions in Saudi Arabia, the family decided to consider options to relocate again. Ireland was suggested by their friend as one of the options, as a country that is being considered as safe and secure. After living in Ireland the past year, the family is happy again and re-gained the feeling of security as well. The picture represents the happiness of their children, running freely and smiling again beside their happy parents.
