Real Life Stories

Here you will be able to find real life stories developed by asylum seekers. This e-Library of real life stories foresees the usage of the Storytelling methodology through interactive games and writing exercises, to learn how to communicate one’s unique personal story and help affect change in the community. Asylum seekers themselves will be trained on how to use storytelling to give voice to their story and will be involved in the school piloting.

“A better life for the children”

This life story started in Pakistan. Having heard about Ireland as a safe and welcoming country, the storyteller and her family decided to start a new journey in order to be able to offer their children a better and more secure life compared to the circumstances and experiences in their country.

After arriving to Ireland and settling into their new environment it proved to be a very good decision and a very positive life experience.
