Digital Manual for Teachers

The digital manual used by secondary school teachers and contain practical participatory tools to inform, raise awareness and empower schools to fight hate speech towards asylum seekers and students with migrant background. Also, the manual aim at increasing students’ civic engagement, media literacy and ICT skills and awareness through forced migration and global issues stimulating active change. Finally it develop student’s intercultural competences and creative thinking to distinguish bias against refugees, recognize forms of manipulation, extremism and populism in the communities and on the media. Το ψηφιακό εγχειρίδιο χρησιμοποιείται από τους εκπαιδευτικούς δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης και περιλαμβάνει πρακτικά συμμετοχικά εργαλεία για την ενημέρωση, την ευαισθητοποίηση και την ενίσχυση των σχολείων, για την καταπολέμηση του μίσους εναντίον των αιτητών ασύλου και των μαθητών με μεταναστευτική βιογραφία. Επίσης, το εγχειρίδιο στοχεύει στην αύξηση της εμπιστοσύνης των πολιτών, της παιδείας στα μέσα επικοινωνίας και των δεξιοτήτων και της πληροφόρησης στις ΤΠΕ, μέσω της αναγκαστικής μετανάστευσης και των παγκόσμιων θεμάτων που ενθαρρύνουν την ενεργό αλλαγή. Τέλος, αναπτύσσει τις διαπολιτισμικές ικανότητες και τη δημιουργική σκέψη των μαθητών, για να διακρίνει την προκατάληψη έναντι των προσφύγων, να αναγνωρίσει τις μορφές χειραγώγησης, τον εξτρεμισμό και τον λαϊκισμό στις κοινότητες και στα μέσα ενημέρωσης. Das digitale Handbuch enthält praktische Hilfestellungen zur Information, Sensibilisierung und Stärkung der Schulen in Bezug auf die Themen Migration, Integration und Flucht. Darüber hinaus zielt das Handbuch darauf ab, bürgerschaftliches Engagement, Medienkompetenzen sowie IT-Fähigkeiten der Schüler*innen zu entwickeln. Ferner sollen interkulturelle Kompetenzen und kreatives Denken gefördert werden. Sie können das endgültige Handbuch als digitales Online-Handbuch (Daumenkino) für Lehrer ansehen.

Il manuale digitale sarà utilizzato dagli insegnanti di scuola secondaria e conterrà strumenti pratici e partecipativi per informare, sensibilizzare e aumentare la capacità delle scuole di affrontare le difficoltà e le discriminazioni nei confronti di richiedenti asilo e studenti con background migratorio. Inoltre, il manuale mirerà ad accrescere l'impegno civico degli studenti, l'alfabetizzazione mediatica e tecnologica e la consapevolezza di tematiche di natura globale, in particolare della migrazione forzata, stimolando un cambiamento attivo. Infine le attività proposte aiuteranno le insegnanti a sviluppare le competenze interculturali degli studenti, nonché il pensiero critico al fine distinguere pregiudizi contro i rifugiati e riconoscere forme di discriminazione nelle comunità e nei media. Manualul digital va fi utilizat de către profesorii de gimnaziu și va conține instrumente practice participative pentru a informa, a crește gradul de conștientizare și pentru a capacita școlile să lupte împotriva discursului de ură față de solicitanți de azil și elevi cu origine imigrantă. De asemenea, manualul va avea ca scop creșterea gradului de angajare civică a elevilor, a competențelor media TIC și a conștientizării prin migrația forțată și problemele globale care stimulează schimbarea activă. În cele din urmă, va dezvolta competențele interculturale ale elevilor și gândirea creativă pentru a distinge prejudecățile față de refugiați, a recunoaște formele de manipulare, extremism și populism în comunități și în mass-media.
