Mr. J.A. is 78 years old and was born in today's Israel, into a wealthy family. His parents had 3 more children and worked as doctors in a hospital in Jerusalem.

All 4 brothers studied at the best rated school of those times and had a carefree childhood. Mr. J.A. he also graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, but never managed to practice, due to the Israeli-Palestinian war that began in 1967. The conflict was so strong that the family lost their home and were forced to flee the city and to take refuge outside him. They were hidden for a few weeks, so that the boys of the family would not be taken to the army.

They managed to escape from Israel and traveled on the Mediterranean Sea hidden in a boat. Their first destination was Spain. Unfortunately, the medical studies of Mr. J.A. and of his parents were not taken into account, so they could not profess. In order to survive, the men in the family were engaged in construction, and the women worked as maids. Mr. J.A. he was able to learn the language fairly quickly and well, so he was able to help his family financially. After almost 2 years of living in Spain, the family moved to France, where the situation was a bit better. Their last stop in Western Europe was in Germany, to finally reach Romania.

Mr. J.A. and his family lived in Romania for 7 years. Mr. J.A. he managed to learn the language and attend a school of nurses. He worked as a nurse for almost 3 years.

Mr. J.A. and his family chose to return to Israel and start a new life. They found a war-torn country and city, saw their friends and colleagues change, or disappear completely. It was not easy to rebuild everything, but they succeeded. Mr. J.A. he married a girl from Israel with whom he has 3 children. The constant fear of conflict made Mr. J.A. to send their children to study abroad. Their lives must be better and carefree than his family.
