My name is Nour, I am 18 and I come from El Faoyum. I love cats, playing and being on my own. I went on a very long journey before arriving here.
During my journey I was really scared and I was really worried that once I arrived in Italy I would have to go back. The political situation in Egypt is tough and going back to Egypt would have been a problem. I was scared about two things: not being able to arrive and having to go back.
During my journey I preferred spending time with others rather than being on my own and I never played. I felt protected by being with others and I realized that sometimes I prefer company to solitude.
When I arrived, I found out that Italy is more beautiful than I expected. I was curious to see if it was as I heard. I am glad to be here!
My message for you is to enjoy every moment of life, especially now that you are young because as you grow up everything will be harder.
