When I first came to Malta, I didn't know anybody and it took me a long time to get to know people and make some friends, and to get used to the Maltese culture.
Lately things have been a bit harder, because it took for the refugee agency of the government two years to give me an interview in order to get awarded some form of protection. When I thought it was finally time to get my documents in order and live a normal life, I got bad news. Due to an administrative issue, it will take longer before I can obtain my documents. I am worried about finding a job now and being able to continue with my studies.
I also can’t travel to meet my family.
